I’m Aurélie, the voice behind Poetic Home Diary.
I live in Provence with my family, in a late-19th-century house we are slowly restoring and inhabiting day by day. But this space is not only about a home — it is about a way of living within it.
I have always been drawn to interiors that feel alive : rooms shaped by time, objects kept for memory, traces of childhood, light moving across walls, everyday gestures repeated through seasons.
Before this project, my path was far from decoration. I come from a legal and public service background — structured, rational, demanding. Creating Poetic Home Diary began as a quiet counterpoint : a place to gather what is sensory, intimate, and lived.
Here, I share fragments of family life at home — interiors, rituals, children’s presence in spaces, objects that carry stories, and the poetry of ordinary days.
Sometimes, this also takes the form of simple seasonal recipes — the kind that belong to family memory, shared tables, and everyday childhood.
Poetic Home Diary is, above all, a personal narrative of home :
how spaces hold childhood, how daily life shapes rooms, and how a house becomes a family landscape over time.
